Hellbent For Hollywood

Hey Guys,
Ok, my latest venture is Hellbentforhollywood.com. I have tried a lot of different things in my life, but a reality show--and the first-ever internet-based reality show to boot--proves a first! Myself and 99 other actors will be competing in the "Act Off" of our lives. It is American Idol meets Survivor of Hollywood's TV/Film industry. What it all entails is still a mystery but I will not be eating animal innards, I am promised.

I'm posting my video promoting myself for the show in the next 24 hrs, so keep your eyes peeled and I will be signing and talking so the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community can be involved. I am in the process of guaranteeing captioning for the Deaf & HoH community for length of the internet program, but it involves a lot of effort. It has to happen and it will happen!!

Vote for me: www.hellbentforhollywood.com; go to "vote for hot news box," enter email address, name, MY #435 and then the security code box on the left and presto--Jen gets a vote!!
We start shooting on Aug 31st but the actual show will start according to the schedule they post on the website: www.hellbentforhollywood.com.

Thanks guys,
Jennifer

  1. I saw Will Smith on the Tavis Smiley show and he was so fantastic. What an optimist! He basically said is that all you have to do is decide that something is going to happen, or you believe in your mind the way you want it to be and then work very very hard, and the universe will get out of your way. What I think he means is that the obstacles that prevent us from succeeding, will step aside and make way. Truly amazing how he has worked his way up the Hollywood ladder! Wow.

  2. I watched Jay Z last night on Bill Maher. He has this dry delivery when talking about the music industry that is both enchanting and perplexing because you don't know if he's cracking a subtle joke to which I am not savvy or he just simply proves careful with his words.

Perhaps it is a little of both. I certainly love him. He was given by Bill Maher a compilation of his work (songs) that were compressed into one huge, bounded, blue book.

It was a charming interview. Every time I see the guy, I like him more and more.
